One of the best things about the "end" of the drum corps season is the start of the chorus season. Rehearsals have started for both the Skyliners Alumni Chorus and the Bon Bons Chorus.
I like being in a group of regular people. Individually, most of us have no shot of going on tour with American Idol, but together, we can create something unique and special (and musical!). I've read that Benjamin Franklin was also an amateur singer and really promoted it as an activity for average people to do. (Read up on Benjamin Franklin - he is one of the coolest dudes in American history.)
Anyway, that's my rant on singing and everyone should try it even if you think you can't.
