Happy Thanksgiving Week!

Posted by: Lisa,

Usually this week goes by pretty quickly for me, so just in case I don't get a chance later in the week, I wanted to take some time to note the things I am very thankful for.

And here they are in no particular order...

My friends and family (including the hubby!) - no one can accomplish anything on this planet without other people to help them. My friends and family are very supportive and encouraging.

The drum and bugle corps activity - this gives me an outlet to express myself outside of my working life and a reason to play and sing music. It also gives me a very large, extended family.

Computers, cell phones and technology - these things give me a career, things to tinker and experiment with, a channel of communication, and a chance to help people who have challenges understanding how to use them.

My job and my coworkers - I can't sustain my lifestyle and my hobbies without my income, the challenges give me something to talk about and my co-workers make it bearable.

My niece, Faith, up in heaven - her 2 and a half year life was a reminder of what's important.

So, I hope that anyone who reads this will take some time for themselves for reflection and introspection and remember that the holiday season is not all about material things (though some good materialism could help the economy a bit!)
