Welcome to my new attempt at creating a blog and a web presence. I've been building my site and my blog in my head for a long time, and the fact that I'm holed inside my house awaiting Hurricane Irene is a good opportunity to get started.
I'm hoping that this site will be full of bits and pieces of personal information, posts about how I've overcome various technical situations and will give me a chance to practice skills that I don't normally have the opportunity to use.
So long for now - I have a lot of work to do in order to get this site presentable!
